Someone had an idea that would impact WHS students,
We said yes.

Since 2005 we've funded projects that gave Winnacunnet students equipment, experiences, and opportunities the operating budget couldn't reach. Some were one-time pilots that proved a concept and moved into the school budget. Others became lasting assets still in use years later.

From the greenhouse to the lunchroom

What started as a request for grow lights turned into a year-round program. Students now grow produce that goes straight to the student cafeteria lunch program.

  • WHS ROBOTICS

    As a brand new WHS robotics club, FoWF funded their imperative tools - the 3D printer with filaments. This club went on to win several awards, including Rookie of the Year.

  • UNIFIED SPORTS

    FOWF donated 175 Tshirts to Unified Sports Day. This was hosted through WHS and Special Olympics New Hampshire, bringing together regional schools to celebrate inclusion and teamwork.

  • SCIENCE TRIP TO UNH

    With the help of Ms. Shofner and Mr. Handwork, student, Anna Bassett developed a science-focused trip to Manchester - open to all who were interested.

  • COLOR GUARD UNIFORMS

    Urgent situation? Yes, we can help - the band director applied for an emergency grant for the Color Guard uniforms a week before the Football season began.

  • HEALTHY COOKING WITH MASTER CHEF

    Jenna Kelly student ELO PROJECT: WHS alumni and Master Chef, Dan Dumont, taught students how to cook healthy on a budget.
